At Parth, the android team is responsible for smooth functioning and high performance of the mobile applications serving millions of daily active users. Team focuses on building high performance, reliable digital products in a complex environment with an objective to give best UX to the end user.

As a full time android developer you will be creating a functional app at the root of android development lifecycle, which deals with different android versions and screen sizes. You will be connecting to back-end services to make an interactive and dynamic application.

Responsibilities

• Translate designs into high quality code.
  
• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code.
  
• Ensure the best quality and smooth functioning of the application.
  
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  
• Develop and own development of complete feature.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
  
• Development experience in Java / Kotlin environments on the basis of mobile development life cycle.
  
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
  
• Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git.
  
• Thorough understanding of http libraries like volley to connect external web services.
  
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes and testing.
  
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  
• Good knowledge of implementing Lottie animations to provide users with best UX.
  
• Professional, precise communication and leadership skills.
  
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  
• Understanding of Firebase realtime database, firestore and other firebase services.
  
• Knowledge of Dependency Injection, RxJava and MVVM Architecture is a plus.
